Preschool Consultation Project
Our Preschool Consultation Program is
designed to serve a unique, developmental needs of each child and
school. There are a menu of Services fit to serve both the staff of
Early Childcare Centers and, the individual needs of a particular
child 0-6. We have found that a referral to a Developmental
Consultant or to a child Development Specialist meets them multiple
needs of parents and early childcare staff, therefore successful as
a first step in resolving low level, but resistant developmental
conflicts that require intervention.
Our program is
flexible enough to serve as a transition to a referral for more
intensive work, or the modality of choice for either brief or long
term supportive family work. Our program offers
the following services to Early Childcare Centers and their
families.
-
Child
Observations/Early Interventions/ Referrals
-
Parent Education classes (6-8 week
series on a particular topic.
-
Warm – line for teachers-
(confidential educational/support line)
- Staff Training/Workshops

Centers; our main goal is to foster emotional and developmental
support for families and meet all of their developmental needs. Our
